Acantilado del Asperillo Natural Monument, Almonte.
A semi-stable coastal sand-dune system formed by wind-blown sands. The monument is located on the Castilla Beach in Almonte, inside the Doñana Nature Reserve. It includes one of the highest cliffs in Europe for its type.
Location: Almonte (Huelva)
Area: 118,533 m2
Access to the sight from the motorway is from the existing wooden footbridge where equipment for public use can be brought over that facilitates walking on the dunes and pedestrian access to the bathing area. Access can also be made from the beach.
The following activities are forbidden due to the conservation of the nature reserve:
a) The hunting or capturing of existing fauna.
b) The driving of vehicles or any type of motocross.
c) Walking near the cliffs.
