Speleology in Leon. These are some of the largest and most spectacular caves in northern Spain. Visitors can walk along an artificial path of almost 4 kilometres from which many stalactite and stalagmite formations can be seen.

The Picos de Europa spread over three provinces: Asturias, Santander and León. In Picos de Europa National Park, Spain's best Atlantic forest can be found. Declared by UNESCO in 2002 as Biosfera reserves.

In Caín Town is located the tomb, fountain and monument to Gregorio Pérez - El Cainejo-, who, 5th August 1904, climbed the famous Naranjo de Bulnes or Picu Urriellu, with Pedro Pidal.
